Alex Iwobi one game away from Premier League history with Fulham

History beckons for Iwobi as Fulham host Crystal Palace

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi is one appearance away from becoming only the fifth player in Premier League history to make at least 100 appearances for three different clubs.

The Fulham midfielder has made 99 league appearances for the club and will reach the century mark if he features against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage on Saturday, September 5.

That would give him 100 appearances each for Arsenal and Fulham, alongside 123 for Everton, placing him in the same bracket as Gareth Barry, Rory Delap, Gary Speed and James Milner.

Iwobi, who joined Arsenal’s academy at age six, has made 322 Premier League appearances in total across the three clubs since his professional debut in 2015.
