APC suspends member over alleged participation in SDP rally

The All Progressives Congress, Panda Karwe Ward in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, has suspended member Abdullahi Usman Bomboi over alleged participation in a Social Democratic Party rally, according to Daily Post Nigeria.

A letter dated August 13 said the suspension takes effect August 15, following claims Bomboi attended an SDP campaign rally and visit in Karu on August 12. The ward described the act as “anti-party” and disrespectful to APC leadership. Copies were sent to local government, zonal and state party chairmen. It remains unclear whether Bomboi will be allowed to respond to the allegations.
