‘Arewa made you president’ — Atiku blasts Obasanjo over non-endorsement

ADC presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has said former President Olusegun Obasanjo lacks the electoral influence to determine the outcome of the 2027 election, according to Tribune Online.

Speaking with journalists on Wednesday amid reports Obasanjo declined to endorse him, Atiku said, “In 1999, he could not even win his own state or the Southwest; it was Arewa that made him President. He possesses no electoral value.”

The former vice president also touted his record of empowering young Nigerians in office, pledging to continue creating leadership opportunities for youths if elected in 2027.
