Arsenal handed fresh Vinicius Junior transfer boost as Real Madrid consider January sale
Arsenal have received a potential boost in their pursuit of Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, with reports suggesting the Spanish club could consider selling the Brazilian in January or next summer.
According to FourFourTwo, several Real Madrid board members have reportedly recommended that president Florentino Perez consider cashing in on the 26-year-old following the emergence of teenage winger Yan Diomande.
Spanish outlet Fichajes claims Real Madrid could demand approximately €150 million for Vinicius, whose contract runs until June 2032.
“Diomande’s rise has reportedly led several board members to recommend that Florentino Perez consider selling Vinicius. The asking price to initiate negotiations would be approximately €150 million,” claims Fichajes.
Arsenal were strongly linked with the Brazil international during the summer transfer window but ultimately pursued other options. However, injuries to Bukayo Saka and Christos Tzolis have reportedly reduced Mikel Arteta’s immediate options on the wings, potentially prompting renewed interest. Vinicius has recorded one goal and three assists in eight La Liga appearances this season.
