Arsenal receive Bruno Guimaraes injury boost ahead of Aston Villa trip
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed Bruno Guimaraes is back in training and could return for Monday’s Premier League trip to Aston Villa. According to Evening Standard, the midfielder missed the opening-day win over Coventry after suffering a minor groin problem but has since resumed work on the pitch.
Arteta said Arsenal are carefully managing Guimaraes’ workload to give him the best chance of being available for selection. New signing Ezri Konsa is also fit and could make his Arsenal debut against his former club. Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber continues to recover from a groin injury and could increase his workload next week.
