Arsenal staff fear job cuts four months after Premier League title triumph
Arsenal staff are reportedly facing the possibility of job cuts just four months after the club ended its long wait for the Premier League title. The Telegraph reports that the club has brought in management consultancy Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to examine its business and identify potential areas for improvement. Although no final decisions have been made and staff have not been formally informed of planned redundancies, concerns are understood to be growing internally.
Arsenal’s financial position is a key factor, with the club recording seven successive years of losses and operating costs rising sharply from £148 million to £201 million in 2024-25. The club’s title-winning campaign and Champions League run have also resulted in significant bonus payments. The review is primarily focused on Arsenal’s off-field operations, while the club has also made changes within its medical and performance departments this year.
