Asisat Oshoala gifts former Coach Brand-New Toyota Highlander
Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has gifted her former grassroots coach, Emmanuel Osahon Orobosa, a brand-new Toyota Highlander in recognition of his contribution to her football development.
According to Leadership Newspaper, FC Robo International, where Orobosa serves as founder, chairman and head coach, announced the gesture, praising the Nigerian international for remembering those who helped shape her career.
Orobosa played an important role in nurturing Oshoala’s talent from her teenage years in 2009, providing guidance and support as she pursued her football ambitions despite challenges, including securing her family’s approval.
“Your presentation of a Toyota Highlander to Coach Osahon is a beautiful demonstration of gratitude and a reminder that you have not forgotten the people who played important roles in your journey,” the club said.
FC Robo also recalled Oshoala’s previous support, including donating a bus to the club during her early years in Europe. The 31-year-old has since become one of Africa’s most decorated female footballers, winning multiple African Women’s Player of the Year awards.
