Atiku’s lobbyist reveals why Trump’s appointment post was deleted

US lobbying firm Von Batten-Montague-York has revealed it deleted a post announcing its leader Dr Karl Von Batten’s alleged appointment by President Donald Trump after the White House informed Von Batten that the Nigerian government was “repeatedly calling and ‘whining'” about the appointment.

According to Daily Post,in a post on its verified X handle on Saturday, the firm — retained by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar — accused President Tinubu’s administration of being “afraid” of its work concerning FBI drug trafficking allegations against the Nigerian president.

“Nigerian President Bola Tinubu is so afraid of our work concerning the allegations of the FBI, that Dr Von Batten is basically living rent-free in his head,” the firm wrote, while accusing Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo of also attacking the organisation.
