Barcelona enter race to sign Rodri amid Real Madrid interest
Barcelona have entered the race to sign Manchester City midfielder Rodri, opening talks with the Spain international’s representatives as they look to rival Real Madrid for his signature.
According to The Athletic, the Catalan club view the World Cup-winning captain as an ideal addition, although player sales may be required to finance a move.
Rodri, whose City contract expires next summer, has yet to agree an extension, with both Spanish giants monitoring his situation. Manchester City remain aware of the growing interest in the 30-year-old.
