Canada opens new immigration opportunities for skilled professionals worldwide

Canada is seeking skilled professionals from around the world as it expands opportunities for international talent to join its workforce and settle in the country.

According to the Government of Canada, demand is growing in sectors including science and technology, health care, skilled trades, defence and cybersecurity, critical minerals and education.

The government said skilled professionals can explore immigration pathways, find jobs with Canadian employers and access settlement support, including services to have foreign qualifications recognised.

Canada also highlighted dedicated services for French-speaking newcomers seeking to settle outside Quebec.
