Canada threatens electricity cut to USA…

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has threatened to cut electricity and critical mineral exports to the United States as Canada’s trade dispute with President Donald Trump escalates.

According to The Independent, Ford said former President Ronald Reagan would be “throwing up” over Trump’s tariff policies and accused the U.S. president of waging an economic war against Canada.

Ford warned that “everything is on the table,” including halting power supplies to about 1.5 million U.S. homes and businesses. His remarks followed new U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods and Trump’s threat of 50 percent duties on Canadian automobiles, parts and steel next year.
