Chelsea end pre-season with convincing win over Real Sociedad

Chelsea ended their pre-season campaign on a positive note with a 3-1 victory over Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. According to We Ain’t Got No History, new signing Morgan Rogers opened the scoring after goalkeeper Álex Remiro saved João Pedro’s initial effort.

Real Sociedad equalised before half-time through Jon Aramburu, but Chelsea responded strongly after the break. João Pedro restored the hosts’ lead when he converted Reece James’ cross before completing his brace after Malo Gusto set him up. The result gives Chelsea momentum ahead of their Premier League opener against Fulham.
