Chelsea returned to winning ways in the Premier League with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Jordan Henderson scored twice on his home debut, while Joao Pedro also netted a brace and Morgan Rogers contributed to the rout.

Evanilson scored Bournemouth’s consolation, but Chelsea’s attacking display secured their first league win since August 30.

Chelsea player ratings vs Bournemouth

Emiliano Martinez – 7/10

Made an impressive double save to deny Rayan and Ryan Christie in the first half. Otherwise, the goalkeeper enjoyed a relatively quiet afternoon.

Josh Acheampong – 6/10

Started ahead of Wesley Fofana and looked comfortable in possession. He also supported Chelsea’s attacking moves whenever opportunities arose.

Maxence Lacroix – 6/10

Aggressive in his attempts to dispossess Bournemouth’s attackers, although some positional uncertainty nearly proved costly before Martinez’s important double save.

Levi Colwill – 6/10

Showed improvement compared with recent outings, winning several important aerial duels. A more encouraging performance, although further progress is still needed.

Pedro Neto – 7/10

Delivered another positive performance at right wing-back, beating Antonio Silva before providing the pull-back that helped Joao Pedro score Chelsea’s third.

Moises Caicedo – 6/10

Made his first start of the season and brought greater stability to Chelsea’s midfield. His clearance contributed to Evanilson’s goal, though responsibility was not entirely his.

Jordan Henderson – 9/10

Delivered a superb performance, opening the scoring with a precise finish before curling home a stunning free-kick. Controlled the midfield and earned the man-of-the-match honours.

Pep Chavarria – 8/10

Impressed with his composure on the ball and defensive awareness. His excellent delivery from the left created Joao Pedro’s second goal.

Cole Palmer – 6/10

Set up Henderson’s opener with an unselfish pass and played his part in Chelsea’s attacking display. However, he was less influential than some teammates.

Morgan Rogers – 8/10

Maintained his impressive start to the season, contributing to Chelsea’s second goal when his delivery was turned into the net by Antonio Silva. Looked dangerous throughout.

Joao Pedro – 9/10

Recovered from his recent knee problem to score twice. His clinical finish immediately after the restart restored Chelsea’s two-goal advantage before he completed his brace in the second half.
