Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at age 27, NBC News reported on Sunday. A family representative confirmed the death, and Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records list a “rehab facility” as the location. No cause of death has been disclosed. The family has requested privacy during what it called a “very difficult and painful time.”

Gerber, who worked as a model alongside his sister Kaia, had spoken publicly about struggles with depression and addiction, running an Instagram series called “Mental Health Mondays” to encourage open conversation.
