Davido: Adeleke cruising to victory in Osun poll, shame to APC

Afrobeats singer Davido has declared that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is “cruising to victory” in Saturday’s governorship election, according to Daily Post Nigeria.

In a post on X, the singer wrote, “Gov Adeleke is cruising to victory. Shame APC,” reacting to early results from polling units. Adeleke had earlier won his first unit, Polling Unit 026, Ward 5, Osogbo, with the Accord Party scoring 57 votes against APC’s 43.

The election has been marred by reports of intimidation and vote-buying in some areas, though voting proceeded smoothly elsewhere.
