Dele Alli offered shock route back into football as League Two leaders open their doors

Former Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli has been offered the chance to train with League Two leaders Barnet as he attempts to revive his football career. According to the Evening Standard, Barnet manager Dean Brennan has opened the door for the 30-year-old to work with his squad. Alli has been using Barnet’s facilities to maintain fitness after leaving Como by mutual consent.

Brennan said the midfielder would be welcome to train with the team and described the opportunity as a potential platform to regain his sharpness. Alli has not played competitively since March 2025, when he made his only appearance for Como before being sent off against AC Milan. Meanwhile, Indian Super League club Odisha FC has also appeared to express interest in the former England international.
