Dollar to Naira exchange rate update – October 03, 2026

The naira slipped slightly against the dollar at the official market on Friday, October 2, 2026, according to Central Bank of Nigeria data reported by Naija News, which showed it closing at ₦1,330.0965/$1.

The parallel market rate was higher, with the naira closing at ₦1,382 to the dollar.

Rates from commercial banks, BDC operators and other dealers may differ from the reference rate because of transaction margins and demand and supply conditions.

Market participants will keep watching foreign exchange inflows, dollar demand and CBN policies to see whether the naira can sustain its gains through the month.
