Dollar to Naira exchange rate update – October 21, 2026
VIA VANGUARD:
The Naira stayed relatively stable against the US Dollar in early trading today, across both the official window and the parallel market. Interventions and foreign portfolio flows are keeping liquidity steady at the official window.
| Market | Buy (N) | Sell (N) |
|---|---|---|
| Official (NFEM) | 1,330.97 | 1,332.00 |
| Parallel (Lagos, Abuja) | 1,365 | 1,380 |
The gap between both markets sits at roughly N48 to N50 per dollar, as demand for foreign travel, school fees and non-official imports stays active.
At these rates, $100 gets you about N133,097 officially, or up to N138,000 on the parallel market.
Analysts say FX liquidity remains tied to crude oil receipts and monetary policy measures aimed at stabilising capital inflows.
