Don’t be fooled, give Tinubu massive votes in 2027, South East govs urge Igbos
South East governors have urged the region to vote massively for President Bola Tinubu in 2027 and ignore political distractions, The Sun reports.
Governors Peter Mbah (Enugu), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi) and Charles Soludo (Anambra), who was represented by his deputy, spoke at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Mega Rally in Enugu on Saturday, flagged off by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu.
Mbah, the host, credited Tinubu’s economic reforms with funding projects such as Smart Green Schools and primary healthcare centres.
“A good sailor does not abandon his ship mid-sea because of challenges. So, we must finish the journey we all started together,” Mbah said.
“We are now seeing good roads, electricity, health reforms, as well as educational reforms in the country. A winning team must not be changed,” Uzodimma said.
Nwifuru dismissed suggestions he was part of any coalition, insisting his loyalty remained with the APC.
“The worst is over. We are stepping into prosperity,” Mrs Tinubu said.
