Enzo Maresca names Sunderland as Man City’s toughest test yet
Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has labelled Sunderland his toughest challenge since taking charge ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash. According to The Irish News, City have won six consecutive matches in all competitions following their Community Shield defeat.
Maresca has closely studied Sunderland and believes they deserved more from their recent defeat to Arsenal. The Italian praised Regis Le Bris’ side for being well coached and organised, insisting City must produce a top-level display to secure victory. Maresca said his players would need to be “100 per cent” against a Sunderland team that has already established clear tactical ideas.
