Estêvão worried about Chelsea playing time under Xabi Alonso
Chelsea forward Estêvão is reportedly concerned about his playing opportunities under new manager Xabi Alonso, according to ESPN. The Brazilian has featured sparingly during Alonso’s opening matches, playing only seven minutes against Fulham before starting the League Cup tie against Luton Town.
He remained an unused substitute in Chelsea’s 4-3 victory over Brighton. Competition for attacking positions has intensified, with Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Pedro Neto among the players competing for roles. Estêvão reportedly wants to remain at Chelsea but could reconsider his future if limited opportunities continue through the first half of the season.
