Florida mother, son charged with incest after alleged 100 sexual encounters

A Florida mother and son have been charged with incest after a domestic dispute investigation revealed they had allegedly been having a sexual relationship for years, CBS News reports.

According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, Christina Clemens, 46, called deputies claiming her 22-year-old son, Shane Clemens, had hit her during an argument.

Judd said Shane, angered by his arrest, told deputies he and his mother had been sexually involved since he turned 18 — a claim Christina allegedly confirmed, saying it had happened “only about 100 times.”

Judd further noted that Christina’s husband, unaware of the relationship, told detectives he had found it suspicious that the two would lock themselves in the master bedroom together.

Both Christina and Shane Clemens were charged with incest, while Christina faces an additional adultery charge — a case Judd bluntly summed up as “nasty” and “illegal.”
