Former Delta Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan dies
Former Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has reportedly died, according to sources close to his family.
According to SaharaReporters, multiple family sources confirmed his death on Monday, October 19, although the circumstances surrounding his passing remain unclear.
“Uduaghan is no more; he is dead,” one source reportedly said.
The development comes months after Uduaghan’s family dismissed earlier reports of his death circulating on social media.
In June, his media aide, Henry Unini, denied the rumours, insisting that the former governor was alive and receiving medical treatment.
“I can tell you for a fact that Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan is alive,” Unini stated at the time.
He acknowledged that Uduaghan had been experiencing health challenges but assured the public that he was recuperating.
“It is now common knowledge that Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has been sick, but he is receiving proper medical care,” he said.
Further details regarding his reported death have yet to emerge.
