Friday declared work-free in Osun ahead of Saturday’s poll
Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared Friday, August 14, a work-free day to give public service workers in Osun the chance to prepare for and participate in Saturday’s governorship election, Peoples Gazette reports.
A circular by Head of Service Ayanleye Aina said the directive excludes workers on emergency and essential duties.
Adeleke also urged workers to mobilise informal workers and artisans to defend his administration’s achievements ahead of the August 15 poll.
