FULL LIST: Head, 20 state coordinators of new ‘fake’ agency

The alleged fake National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office operated a sprawling structure across 20 states and two foreign countries, PUNCH Online reports.

Its website listed Nwabueze George as Executive Director and National Coordinator, alongside three zonal directors, a national administration director, 20 state coordinators and representatives in the United States and China.

The development followed ICPC Chairman Musa Aliyu’s disclosure that President Bola Tinubu ordered George’s arrest over the alleged unauthorised office. Tinubu also ordered the suspension of three permanent secretaries after the ICPC discovered the office operating within OSGF premises without presidential authorisation.
