Gavi and Rodri call for total focus ahead of El Clásico battle

Barcelona midfielders Gavi and Rodri have issued high-alert warnings ahead of Sunday’s showdown with Real Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou, according to a report by Madrid Universal.

Speaking on Kylian Mbappé’s threat, Gavi stated:“It’s true that Kylian Mbappe scores a lot of goals, but he hasn’t managed to turn that into trophies so far. However, that doesn’t diminish his value in the slightest.”

He added: “He is one of the best players in the world, and he proves it consistently. Mbappé is an exceptional and incredibly dangerous player, and anyone who can’t see that is blind, right?”

Warning of Madrid’s late threat, Gavi noted:“We have to go to war, no matter how either team arrives… We have to maintain the right mentality throughout the entire game because they can hurt you on any play, especially in the final minutes.”

Meanwhile, Rodri warned against complacency: “They can’t fool us, or at least they won’t fool me.” He concluded:“If we want to beat them, we have to give our very best, because there is no room for complacency when facing Real Madrid.”
