“God got us” — Davido rallies behind uncle Adeleke ahead of Osun poll

Afrobeats star Davido has thrown his support behind his uncle, Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke, ahead of the August 15 governorship election, according to a report by Punch.

Sharing photos of himself embracing the governor on X, Davido wrote, “We got this… God got us.”

Imo Governor Hope Uzodimma and Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo responded with jabs, mocking Adeleke’s dancing and re-election chances.

Adeleke maintained the poll is about electorate respect, amid an ongoing EFCC account freeze dispute.
