Harry Kane reveals NFL kicking ambition after giving up professional Golf dream

Harry Kane has revealed plans to explore becoming an NFL kicker after his football career, while admitting he has abandoned his dream of turning professional in golf. Speaking to The Sun, the England captain said the NFL option could become realistic if he eventually moves to MLS.

Kane, 33, believes his experience taking penalties could help, although he would spend six months to a year preparing before attempting it. The Bayern Munich striker also confirmed he is close to extending his contract with the German champions. Kane has scored six goals this season and remains in contention for the Ballon d’Or after a prolific previous campaign.
