Harry Kane wins second European Golden Shoe after 36-goal Bundesliga season
England striker Harry Kane has won the European Golden Shoe for the second time after another prolific Bundesliga campaign with Bayern Munich. According to Reuters, Kane received the award at the Bayern Munich Museum on Wednesday after scoring 36 league goals last season.
Manchester City’s Erling Haaland finished second with 27 goals, while Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé scored 25. Kane previously claimed the award in his first Bayern season in 2023-24, also scoring 36 goals. The striker helped Bayern win the Bundesliga, German Cup and German Super Cup and is now regarded as a leading contender for the Ballon d’Or, which will be awarded in London in October.
