Harry Kane’s historic Champions League scoring streak came to an end on Tuesday after he failed to find the net during Bayern Munich’s 2-0 victory over Atlético Madrid, according to a report by Bavarian Football Works.

The English striker had scored in 10 consecutive Champions League appearances prior to the match, leaving him just one game short of matching Cristiano Ronaldo’s all-time record of 11.

Despite seeing his individual streak halt, Kane contributed with an assist as Bayern secured a decisive away win in Spain.

Bayern Munich overcame significant adversity to claim all three points, blanking Diego Simeone’s side in their own stadium.

The result maintains Bayern’s strong momentum in the Champions League group stage as they continue their pursuit of the European title.
