‘I can never support APC in my life’: Davido goes all out against ruling party during Osun election

Afrobeats superstar Davido has declared he would never support the APC, accused President Bola Tinubu of “killing democracy” and offered voters real-time BVAS troubleshooting advice — all in a dramatic series of posts on X during Saturday’s Osun State governorship election.

In posts on his verified X account, the singer whose uncle Governor Ademola Adeleke is seeking re-election wrote: “I CAN NEVER SUPPORT APC IN MY LIFE!!!” and accused the presidency of attempting to withdraw security personnel as results favoured Adeleke. “Because we are winning. They want to withdraw the police and military! MR PRESIDENT TINUBU! UR KILLING DEMOCRACY,” he alleged.

As reported by Tribune, Davido also advised voters experiencing BVAS camera failures to request officials switch to the front camera for faster accreditation — a practical intervention amid widespread accreditation complaints across the state on election day.
