I can take a bullet for Tinubu, I’ll support him till the end — Kaduna governor

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has declared his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, saying he is ready to take a political bullet for him.

According to Vanguard, Sani made the declaration during an interview with Trust TV’s Daily Politics, citing federal appointments and infrastructure investments in Kaduna State.

Asked whether he could take a political bullet for Tinubu, Sani replied, “I can take it.”

He added: “I have no apology for supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and I will continue to support him till last minute and I will tell you why, because many people do not know President Tinubu, I know him, and I’ve been with him for 32 years and I cannot pretend.”

The governor credited Tinubu with supporting federal appointments, university projects and road construction in Kaduna.

He also highlighted funding for a proposed light rail project and compressed natural gas buses.

Sani maintained that his loyalty reflected Kaduna’s interests rather than personal favours.
