ICPC exposes two additional fake government agencies
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has uncovered two additional fake government agencies operated by Adeniyi Matthew Adeyemi, self-styled Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). According to Vanguard News,
ICPC Chairman Dr Musa Adamu Aliyu said the newly discovered bodies, the FCT Investment Promotion Agency and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency, were created with forged instruments and used to open bank accounts for illegal activities. The commission’s interim report, submitted to President Tinubu, recommends Adeyemi’s prosecution and sanctions for collaborating public officers.
