Illinois mom charged with killing toddler son she called “anti-Christ”
Illinois mother Corie Walsh is accused of strangling her 2-year-old son Barrett and hanging him from a basement rafter. She told police he was the “devil” and “anti-Christ.” Her husband is standing by her despite prosecutors saying she also plotted to poison him.
Her defense says the killing occurred during a psychotic episode. Prosecutors point to court documents showing Walsh had become deeply invested in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial and discussed it with friends just three and a half hours before Barrett was found dead.
