‘Infantino era is over’ – Javier Tebas launches fresh attack on FIFA president
LaLiga president Javier Tebas has intensified his criticism of FIFA president Gianni Infantino, declaring that the “Infantino era is over” and calling for major changes to football’s global leadership. According to GOAL, Tebas told Le Monde that Infantino’s projects are damaging national leagues and claimed FIFA needs more than a change of personnel.
His comments follow FIFA’s decision to abandon the controversial Forward Enterprise project, which had faced opposition over plans involving private investment. Tebas also called for new governance at FIFA, while Infantino continues to face criticism from several European football associations. Despite the growing opposition, Infantino retains significant support from other regions.
