Is Ukraine about to destroy Putin’s palace?
Ukraine has destroyed key air defences shielding Vladimir Putin’s £1billion Black Sea palace near Gelendzhik, according to Daily Mail, leaving the residence “unprotected.” A Volna Kupol Garant electronic warfare system was struck on August 7, followed two days later by an S-400 missile system nearby.
Military analyst Yan Matveyev said satellite imagery confirmed the destruction, opening the palace to potential drone strikes. The compound, exposed by the late Alexei Navalny in 2021, features an underground bunker, casino and helipad. Putin reportedly now favours his fortified Lake Valdai residence, fearing long-range Ukrainian strikes on the Gelendzhik property.
