Jamal Musiala sparked concern during Bayern Munich’s 3-1 pre-season victory over RB Leipzig after appearing to lose consciousness late in the match. According to GOAL, the 23-year-old had scored after coming on as a substitute before becoming unsteady and collapsing, with new teammate Ismael Saibari helping to prevent him from falling heavily.

Medical staff subsequently escorted Musiala from the pitch, although Bayern sporting director Max Eberl offered reassurance over his condition. “The most important thing, he’s doing well,” Eberl said. Bayern were also forced to withdraw Konrad Laimer after he suffered a foot injury.
