Jürgen Klopp reveals what really worries him about Karim Adeyemi
Germany manager Jürgen Klopp has played down Karim Adeyemi’s glaring miss against the Netherlands, insisting the forward’s reaction afterwards was the bigger concern. Adeyemi missed an open-goal opportunity that could have put Germany 2-0 ahead, but Klopp said the 24-year-old’s inability to move past the mistake affected his subsequent performance.
According to Bavarian Football Works, Klopp praised Adeyemi’s attitude and described him as a player who had made a strong impression at Barcelona. The Germany boss acknowledged that such mistakes happen in football and said the focus was on helping Adeyemi remain involved after setbacks.
Klopp also stressed that the forward remains young and has qualities he values. Adeyemi’s response to the miss could now influence his prospects of retaining a starting role for Germany.
