Jurgen Klopp secures first Germany win with 2-0 victory over Serbia
Jurgen Klopp secured his first victory as Germany coach as his side beat Serbia 2-0 in their UEFA Nations League clash in Munich on Thursday. According to France 24, Florian Wirtz and Tom Bischof scored as Germany produced a much-improved display after a draw with the Netherlands and a shock defeat by Greece in Klopp’s opening two matches.
Bischof opened the scoring shortly before half-time after Wirtz struck the post, before Wirtz doubled Germany’s advantage early in the second half. Klopp fielded a youthful starting XI, including three debutants, as Germany moved closer to rebuilding confidence under their new manager.
