Karim Benzema set to leave Al-Hilal as Ollie Watkins arrives
Karim Benzema is reportedly set to leave Al-Hilal by mutual consent following the arrival of England striker Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa. GiveMeSport reports that the 38-year-old is considering his next move, with retirement also among the possibilities.
Benzema joined Al-Hilal in January after previously spending time at Al-Ittihad following his departure from Real Madrid. The former Ballon d’Or winner scored 354 goals for Madrid and enjoyed an exceptional career in Europe. Meanwhile, Watkins has signed a three-year contract with Al-Hilal after the Saudi club agreed a package worth €60 million with Aston Villa.
