Lamine Yamal sets sights on more glory after Euro and World Cup triumphs

Barcelona and Spain winger Lamine Yamal has revealed his determination to continue winning after helping Spain claim the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Speaking to The Guardian, Yamal admitted he did not fully understand the significance of winning Euro 2024 because of his age and limited experience at the time.

The 19-year-old has since added the World Cup to his major international honours and believes Spain can achieve even greater success. Yamal said there was still plenty to accomplish and questioned why Spain could not become the greatest national team in history. He also insisted he would never settle for ordinary standards.
