Leeds United told £50m needed to sign Chelsea striker Liam Delap
Leeds United have reportedly been told they would need to pay £50m to sign Chelsea striker Liam Delap this summer. According to Leeds Live, the Whites are monitoring the situation but are unlikely to match Chelsea’s valuation.
A loan move could therefore provide an alternative, with interested clubs reportedly believing a deal closer to £40m is achievable. Everton and Nottingham Forest are also credited with interest, with Forest emerging as frontrunners. Delap, who joined Chelsea from Ipswich last summer for £30m, reportedly prefers to remain in the Premier League.
