Lewis Hall reveals why he rejected Manchester United transfer to stay at Newcastle

Lewis Hall has revealed why he decided against joining Manchester United and committed his future to Newcastle. According to Daily Mail, the 22-year-old defender attracted strong interest from United during the summer as they searched for a new left-back.

However, Hall said Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle’s vision for the club convinced him to stay on Tyneside. He praised the German for giving him freedom to express himself while demanding strong defensive work. Hall has since signed a new contract with Newcastle and returned to the England squad after missing the World Cup. United reportedly remain interested in him ahead of next summer.
