Lindsay Clancy juror denies bias allegations, calls for women’s mental health conversations
A juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has denied allegations that panel members approached the case with bias, saying the trial simply opened a needed conversation on women’s mental health. According to Fox News , Paula Devlin, 65, said jurors saw the case as a chance to spark dialogue that could prevent similar tragedies, adding that acknowledging postpartum depression and psychosis affect only women “is just a fact,” not bias.
Devlin said the prosecution’s case had holes, noting no witness could say anything negative about Clancy, a former nurse who killed her three children in January 2023. Devlin said she believes the family would still be together had Clancy received adequate mental health help, and remains haunted by the children’s faces.
