Man City beat Liverpool 3-0 after Gravenberch red card sparks Anfield collapse
Manchester City punished Liverpool’s second-half collapse to take a commanding 3-0 lead at Anfield after Ryan Gravenberch’s red card, according to GOAL.
Gravenberch was sent off in the 62nd minute after receiving a second yellow card for a foul on Jeremy Doku. Erling Haaland capitalised three minutes later, extending his scoring streak to six consecutive matches, before Doku doubled City’s advantage in the 68th minute.
Rayan Cherki completed the rout with a composed finish following an impressive team move involving Josko Gvardiol and Elliot Anderson. The result put Manchester City in a strong position to move three points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
