Man City confirm triple exit as three defenders leave in 45 minutes
Manchester City have confirmed the departures of three defenders, with Max Alleyne, Lakyle Samuel and Finley Burns all leaving the club, according to the Manchester Evening News. Alleyne has joined Burnley on a season-long loan after making seven appearances for City last season, while Samuel has moved temporarily to League Two side Exeter City.
Burns has completed a permanent transfer to Wigan Athletic for a reported £200,000, signing a three-year contract. The 23-year-old made one senior appearance for City during his time at the club. The trio’s exits form part of City’s efforts to continue developing and reshaping their young squad.
