Man City reject €45m Barcelona offer for Rodri
Barcelona have made an offer worth around €45 million plus add-ons for Manchester City midfielder Rodri, according to The Athletic. City consider the proposal well below their valuation and want around €80 million to sanction the 30-year-old’s departure.
Rodri, whose contract expires in 2027, has yet to show willingness to extend his deal and reportedly prefers a return to Spain, with Barcelona his favoured destination.
The 2024 Ballon d’Or winner played a key role in Spain’s 2026 World Cup triumph and is recovering from minor back surgery. He is expected to return before the end of August.
