Man United Player Ratings vs Fulham: Star man shines while Fernandes gets 4/10

Share:

Manchester United extended their winless run to four matches after being held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Lisandro Martinez’s own goal put the hosts ahead before Matheus Cunha’s deflected effort rescued a point. United struggled for long periods and relied heavily on Senne Lammens, while Fulham created the clearer opportunities.

Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford struggled to influence the game, although Cunha’s fortunate equaliser prevented another defeat.

Senne Lammens — 8/10

United’s standout performer. Made several important stops to deny Josh King, Alex Iwobi and Oscar Bobb, keeping his team in the contest.

Diogo Dalot — 4/10

Struggled defensively and was careless in possession. Iwobi repeatedly targeted him, while Fulham’s overlapping runs created further problems.

Harry Maguire — 5/10

Had difficulty dealing with Fulham’s movement and pace. His distribution lacked urgency, while Bassey’s attacking run exposed United’s defensive weaknesses.

Lisandro Martinez — 4/10

Looked uncomfortable before scoring an unfortunate own goal. His performance reflected United’s defensive struggles, despite some attempts to contribute in possession.

Luke Shaw — 5/10

Provided greater defensive security than Dorgu but remained conservative going forward. Became more involved only after United fell behind.

Youri Tielemans — 5/10

Failed to provide the creativity expected from midfield. Took too many touches and struggled to find incisive passes between Fulham’s defensive lines.

Kobbie Mainoo — 5/10

Was overwhelmed by Fulham’s physical midfield presence. His positioning also allowed Josh King too much freedom to operate between the lines.

Bryan Mbeumo — 4/10

Found little joy against Antonee Robinson. Fulham’s left-back consistently anticipated his movements and prevented him from making a meaningful attacking impact.

Bruno Fernandes — 4/10

Failed to influence proceedings. Roamed widely searching for possession but rarely found opportunities to dictate the game or unlock Fulham’s defence.

Marcus Rashford — 4/10

Struggled to make an impact and was comfortably contained by Timothy Castagne. His missed close-range opportunity summed up an ineffective afternoon.

Matheus Cunha — 6/10

Worked hard despite limited service and looked frustrated for much of the match. His deflected effort rescued United and earned them a point.

Joshua Zirkzee — 6/10

Added a focal point after coming on. Combined neatly at times but lacked the physical presence and threat United have missed from Benjamin Sesko.

Mason Mount — 6/10

Brought greater energy and movement after his introduction. His forward runs offered United more dynamism, although the improvement came too late.

Patrick Dorgu — 6/10

Introduced too late to make a meaningful impact but was able to set-up Cunha for the equalizer.
