Meghan Markle’s dad faces child pornography investigation after son reports disturbing discovery

The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is reportedly preparing to investigate Thomas Markle Sr., the estranged father of Meghan Markle, following allegations that child sexual abuse material was discovered at his residence in the Philippines.

According to the New York Post, citing The Sun, the allegations emerged after Markle’s son, Thomas Markle Jr., reported discovering “hundreds, if not thousands” of disturbing images in storage boxes at the family’s Cebu residence.

The 60-year-old reportedly contacted Philippine police, the FBI, Pennsylvania state police and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

“When I found this material I was horrified and I had no option but to report my dad,” Thomas Jr. said.

Investigators in the Philippines have reportedly established a task force to examine the allegations, while arrangements are underway to seize four boxes containing potential evidence.

An investigative source said American authorities had already requested information from Philippine officials.

“An FBI agent has already requested the contact details of investigators leading the case in the Philippines,” the source said.

Thomas Jr. also reportedly employed an information technology specialist to examine several computer hard drives, allegedly uncovering additional disturbing material.

“His desktop was full of row upon row of thumbnail pictures linking to the most sickening child abuse imaginable. The worst of the worst,” he claimed.

Markle Sr., 82, currently resides in a Florida rehabilitation facility following serious health complications.

Meanwhile, his daughter Samantha Markle has defended him, accusing her brother of seeking revenge.

Meghan, who has reportedly been estranged from her father since 2018, has not publicly commented on the allegations.

“Now maybe people will finally understand why she has had nothing to do with her father since 2018,” a source close to Meghan said.

The FBI has not publicly confirmed a formal investigation, and no criminal charges have been reported against Markle Sr.
