Mikel Arteta calms Arsenal contract fears with strong reassurance
Mikel Arteta has reassured Arsenal supporters that they have no reason to worry about his contract situation despite entering the final year of his current deal. According to Football London, the Gunners boss said he remains “extremely happy” at the club and wants to continue working in north London.
“I want to be here,” Arteta said, adding that negotiations will be resolved when the time is right. The Spaniard’s comments come ahead of Arsenal’s Community Shield clash with Manchester City after guiding the club to their first Premier League title in 22 years last season.
